We've Got A Mover and A Shaker....

Do you see what I see? The entire bassinet is almost adjacent to the coffee table...LOL! And if I hear one more person say, "She's making way for the next one". That's too funny.

But Arianna is quite active when she's awake and when she's asleep. My grandmother told me that I was such a wild sleeper, that when she would babysit me, she would have to tie a nylon stocking around her wrist and my ankle to prevent me from falling off the bed. Well, I think Arianna got her active sleeping habits honestly.

Right now, we're in the process of considering another sleeping quarter for the little Miss Arianna. I'm considering the graco play yard. Any ideas or suggestions? She has a crib and more, but that's upstairs in her room. And since she's not quite sleeping through the night consistently, we need another bed option for our bedroom. I will not be trucking up those stairs at 4am. Oh yea, and I'm not ready to see her go, yet! *sigh.

I really dislike the fact that most bassinets have a weight limit of 15lbs. The one that goes beyond the 15lb marker is the co-sleeper unit. It's quite pricey, but worth the buy. I highly recommend it and I don't have one *double sigh. It functions as a co-sleeper (for mom's who breastfeed), bassinet, and play-yard. So worth it!

If I can catch a snapshot of Arianna stretching, I will post it immediately. She has a new stretch that she does when she wakes up. It's quite comical; as if she's just worked a 16hr shift. Ah, the joys of motherhood - seeing your baby transform right before your eyes. Arianna is talking quite a bit and must have a lot to say. Videos to come.

We made it...

After much consideration, I finally made it to blogging about Arianna Zoe Michelle. For now, most people follow Arianna's daily activities via facebook. Then a few weeks ago, I fell in love with Shutterfly. We still have those accounts, but I wanted to start a blog still! Can you tell we love our Arianna-Boo (name given by her Grammy!)

So what's the difference and why am I blogging? I want to preserve these memories we have with Arianna forever. So, sit back and enjoy as I'm sure there will be light hearted posts, deep posts and just posts about how much Arianna is surprising us with her HUGE personality! As her parents, of course we believe she is the best! But if you have a blog about your awesome children, please let me know. I want to follow your blogs, as well.

Below are some of my favorite pics taken within the past two weeks. Mommy, Daddy and Baby Arianna flew to Oakland, CA for Mother's Day weekend. Unfortunately, Daddy had to return home due to work. But Arianna and I stayed another 2 weeks. This made her Grammy (my mother) extremely happy. What a wonderful Grammy she has.


Arianna is a pro. She slept to California and back. We received many thanks by fellow passengers, too. LOL! They didn't even know a baby was on the plane - so they say:) How can you not miss this cuteness?


Grammy is always glad to see her Arianna-Boo:-) Grammy was there for us in the beginning, helping mommy and daddy for the first 2.5 weeks after Arianna's arrival.



Daddy loves to rock baby Arianna to sleep. Here, we're out to lunch with family friends after Sunday Morning Service. We think she might be left handed. Only with her left hand will she grab at her hair. We shall see...
